Designed by David Kerkhoff, Mortal Coil is a brush display and grunge font family. This typeface has two styles and was published by Hanoded.
I was playing around with an old brush I found in our kitchen: it had fallen under the stove and it had probably been hiding there for quite some time! I dusted it off, got my Chinese ink and set to work. The result is a scary-ish font.
Mortal Coil comes with discretionary ligatures for double lower case letter combinations.
